Bueno whois se puede instalar en linux o usarse en vía web.

Como podemos ver nos dice los DNS de la pagina, la ultima actualización, al igual que la fecha de creación, la fecha en el que caduca el servicio amenos que lo prolongue la empresa, también nos dice la versión del servidor, bueno ustedes mismo lo pueden ver xD...
